#spon #ad Very excited to share this review with my readers today! My Four Littles was lucky enough to receive the Combi Twin Cosmo Stroller for review recently and I’m thrilled to share our experience. We’ve been using the Twin Cosmo for about 6 weeks now and I’m happy to say it’s performed beautifully for us and has become my double stroller of choice! With four kids ranging in age from 18 months to nearly five, I’ve used many (and I mean MANY!) strollers – singles, doubles, even triples! Check out what I thought below and be sure to enter our giveaway for a chance to try the Combi Twin Cosmo Stroller with your littles!
Fold and Carry Strap – The Twin Cosmo folds in a very compact, self standing fold. I love the the seats are not exposed when folded so I don’t have to worry about the seats getting dirty from the floor or ground the stroller is laying on. The fold will also stand alone, which is nice if it’s stored inside. There is an attached carrying strap.
Seats – The seats are padded and very comfortable. There are several recline positions, including the full recline needed for a newborn. A newborn safety boot is included to keep baby safe and secure.
Seat Pads - The seat pads are easily removable and washable. This is a must for me. It’s amazing just how dirty strollers will get and so the ability to easily remove the seat pads and wash them will keep your Twin Cosmo looking sharp for years to come!
Canopies – A big negative of most umbrella strollers is that the sun canopies are virtually (if not completely) useless. Not true with the Twin Cosmo. Not only are the Twin Cosmo’s sun canopies generously sized, but they also have storage pockets to keep your essentials close at hand.
Harness – The harness can be converted from a three point to a five point. This is a wonderful feature, since younger children and infants need the security of a five point harness and older children prefer the freedom of a three point harness.
Guardrails/Lap Bars – Another great feature are the lap bars/guardrails. These can be removed for easy access and to allow older children to get in and out of the stroller on their own. The guardrails have cup holders and snack trays.
Wheels – The front wheels can swivel or remain locked. The wheels of this stroller aren’t big and it definitely doesn’t move like a jogging stroller. However, for everyday use the wheels are more than adequate and I had no trouble pushing my older two children (37lbs and 40lbs) on normal terrain.
Parent Cup Holder – I appreciate that Combi includes the adult cup holder with the stroller since several companies now require you to purchase it separately.
Storage – The Twin Cosmo has a huge storage basket for an umbrella style stroller. You can access it from the back, sides, and front and it’s definitely large enough to hold a normal sized diaper bag on each side.
Weight – The stroller weighs in at just over 22lbs. This is very light for a double stroller. As a comparison, other stroller weights are as follows (per Amazon): Baby Jogger City Mini Double (30lbs), Joovy Scooter X2 Double (28lbs), Graco Quattro Tour Duo (45lbs), Contours Option Tandem Double (43lbs), and Maclaren Twin Techno Double (27lbs).
Dimensions – 32.5″ L by 30.5″ W by 42″ H, the stroller easily maneuvers through standard doorways as well as check out lanes.
Capacity – Each seat has a 45lbs weight limit. This is great because it’s high enough all four of my children can use the stroller, even my almost 5 year old (40lbs).
Travel System Option: The Combi Twin Cosmo can be used as a travel system with the Combi Shuttle Infant Car Seat. This is wonderful for moms on the go, no more moving a sleeping infant, just pop the car seat in the stroller and go! Please note, only ONE seat will accept the car seat, so this wouldn’t be an appropriate travel system for newborn twins.
Colors: The Combi Twin Cosmo is available in red, black, and blue.
Retail Price: The Combi Twin Cosmo retails for $259.99.
